How we work.
Every engagement follows the same discipline. The scope changes. The rigour does not. Our fees are tied to your results.
Three principles that govern every engagement.
Evidence before opinion
No framework arrives ahead of us. We start with the operational and financial data. How time is actually spent, and where the process breaks. Understand what is happening before recommending what should.
Architecture before action
We design the target operating model before we touch the operations. Otherwise you rearrange the chaos. We draw the blueprint first.
Delivery, not departure
Most consultancies deliver a report and leave. We deliver operating change. Systems implemented, teams trained, processes documented, the new model working when we step out.
Four phases. Applied to every engagement.
Phase 1: Diagnose
We assess your current operations with the thoroughness of a buyer conducting due diligence. Because that level of understanding is what meaningful change requires.
Activities: operational mapping, owner-dependency assessment, process audit, financial analysis, team assessment, sector benchmarking.
Output: a diagnostic report quantifying the current state, the target state, and the gap between them.
Phase 2: Design
We architect the target operating model. This is the blueprint. Specific to your business, your industry, your team, and your goals.
Activities: operating model design, process architecture, delegation framework, systems specification, sequenced change plan.
Output: a complete operating model blueprint and implementation plan. Not a slide deck. A working specification that the Deliver phase executes against.
Phase 3: Deliver
We implement. Embedded in your business, working with your team. This is where the change happens.
Activities: process implementation, role restructuring, systems configuration, training delivery, governance activation, owner transition.
Output: working systems, trained people, documented processes, active governance. The business operating on the new model.
Phase 4: Sustain
We build the structures that keep the new operating model running after we leave. This is the phase most consultancies skip. And it is the phase that determines whether change lasts.
Activities: performance dashboards, review cadences, continuous improvement protocols, escalation frameworks, handover documentation.
Output: a self-sustaining operating model with the monitoring, accountability, and improvement systems to keep it running.
We are paid when you grow.
We charge three ways, depending on what we're paid to deliver: a percentage of the revenue growth we generate during the engagement; a percentage of the valuation uplift when we're preparing the business for sale or investment; or a success fee on a completed transaction (sale, franchise launch, or acquisition). No day rates. No retainers. If the result doesn't land, the fee doesn't land.
Competitors charge retainers and day rates regardless of outcome. We don't get paid unless you do.
Most consultancies deliver recommendations. We deliver operating change.
The consulting industry has a delivery problem. Firms diagnose well. They design well. They present beautifully. And then they leave. Implementation is the client's problem.
We do not operate that way.
We are embedded in your business during the Deliver phase. We work alongside your team. We build the systems, train the people, document the processes, and activate the governance. We do not hand you a report and wish you well.
This is not because we do not trust your team. It is because implementation is where change fails. And implementation is a skill in its own right. It requires different capabilities than analysis. It requires patience, pragmatism, and the willingness to adjust when reality does not match the blueprint. We bring those capabilities.
A plan without implementation is a slide deck. We deliver the implementation.
